GOAT MOUNTAIN Recording

Picture

A Room for Performing

We're located near Joshua Tree, California, in the Mojave Desert and our recording studio reflects the wide open, expansive spaces of its surroundings.  Our live room is approximately one thousand square feet and its shape was designed for sound.  We have two large isolation rooms. Our goal is to make it easy and comfortable for artists to take their ideas and turn them into recorded realities that exceed expectations.

The Control Room

Our control room is also large.  It's centered around an AMEK Angela mixing console and a 24 input/output BURL B80 Mothership analog/digital converters - some of the best in old and new tech respectively.  At Goat Mountain, we believe using the best vintage gear paired with cutting edge digital converters in an environment that facilitates creativity, results in great recordings.

Off Grid Solar Generated Electricity

Goat Mountain is an off grid recording studio.  We use solar generated electricity from panels mounted to the studio's roof.  We use a high quality, pure sine wave inverter to convert the DC current to AC which results in some of the best quality AC electricity of any studio in the world.  And we can all feel good about making recordings using green energy.  Call or email for availability, rates, current gear list and lodging.  We look forward to making music with you.  (503) 962-0321 [email protected]
