Since I heard about this yearly event put on by Mil-Tree, I have been hoping I would be asked to perform. It's billed as an evening of desert stories and songs and that's in my wheelhouse! Plus, Live From Joshua Tree is a benefit for Mil-Tree whose mission is to bring veterans, active duty and civilians together through arts and dialogue to help transform the wounds of war. This event is so special. And this year it's being held in The Sanctuary at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center which is an experience itself (it's a building, not what is pictured although that is the Retreat Center).
